An iconic track from the nu-metal era in the early 00s. Expect aggressive guitars, distorted bass lines, and manipulated vocals in this one. We really enjoyed picking the instrumentation apart and figuring out the melodies and sounds–it was surprising how many layers were involved, totalling 119 tracks in the end! It took three recording sessions to get the guitar parts just right, but it was worth it. The vocals were chopped, pitched, manipulated (using Izotope’s Stutter Edit), panned, distorted…–we had a lot of fun experimenting with this. Overall, pretty happy with the result of this one!
